It's not very often that I get to say one of my podcast episodes features a WORLD EXCLUSIVE but... this one does :D.
Back in 1996, Danny Rampling played a track (also championed by Paul Oakenfold) which became an instant Love Groove Dance Party Euro Mix classic. No one knew who made it, no one had it aside from Danny & Oakie. The track never got pressed to vinyl and only lived in the memories of those who remembered it or had it on tape...
Once one of those Euro Mixes made it online, a copy was cut to youtube which caught the eyes of not only Oakie who re-shared it but the original producer who got in touch. After a few months of chatting, the producer very kindly uploaded a cassette copy which is available on soundcloud below, of all three versions of this track. Psychedelic Concentration Camp has of course been played, however I think I'm safe in saying that thanks to Paul, I can now say this is the first podcast / show to ever feature 'This Civilisation'.
