Couldn't have said it better. The only slight thing that's making me consider it is Soundforge is Lion only, as there's no way I am going to pony up $500 for wavelab, and I could really do with a decent audio editor. |

my 2009 mac pro handles as much as most 2013 computers. IN terms of audio production, those benchmark numbers are not as important as you think.
my 2010 can probably handle more |

| what i meant was that logic seems to be discontinued any day which kinda was the only point of macs for some. |
