it looks like a rare opportunity as he hates flying, and he was like, retired! i'd be surprised if he ever came back to these shores.
i remember years ago seeing him on TV with the legendary air traffic lamps waving them around like a raver.
wonder what he's like nowadays. plus the venue he's playing at has a reputation for being a bit... mental. dj's usually play at the more lively end of their normal style to accommodate.
i have his back to basics mix CD, which is awesome. love the honest, choppy mixing. live TT mix bitches! no ableton here.
Woony
Aren't there many stories here on TA about him playing for 24 hours straight or hiding in speaker boxes?
Rodri Santos
Go, a nice bloke, and a true dj, he plays for 6+ hours unlike most djs and he is very funny apart from a good dj. If you don't like the music maybe you get a laugh, he likes doing the clown and still is not nearly as pathetic as tiesto for example who tries to be serious and can't.

hell yea man i love that cd
def go check him out, altho his main style is more tech driven house and techno rather than his days of percussion driven house
but if he is spinning a nice long set iam sure he will take you on a journey thru all dif types of genres
i seen him up in montreal for 16 hours last summer and it was a journey set, played totally different than when i seen him in nyc
just dont have a camera or cell phone in his face, he will get on the mic and put you on blast lol

I've missed Sasha, John Digweed, The Crystal Method, Carl Cox, MIKE, Tiesto, and Underworld all in the last 5 years and they were all playing right around the corner. yeah, screw my life.

Absolutely worth it to go see DT. Every time I have seen him he has destroyed. And make sure you stay late as DT is at his best around 3-6am when the dark tribal bombs come out.
One of my all time nights, was hearing DT play a 10 hour set in SF, by 5am the place was still packed and he was dropping dark techno/tribal house bombs, amazing night!
