Need Help on VJing Controllers

Hi TAs. A friend of mine is a VJ and is going to switch soon from NuVJ to Serato Itch. He is looking for help/recommendations on what's the best of the following 5 controllers:
- Allen & Heath Xone:DX
- Numark NS7
- Pioneer DDJ-S1
- Vestax VCI-300
- Vestax VCI-380
Any guidance you guys can provide would be most appreciated.

| Out of those I like the Pioneer or Numark the best. It comes down to cost your buddy wants to spend. My friend has his whole library already in Serato, and he eventually bought Video-SL when he was using time-coded CDs which worked amazing. He has now been playing out with the Reloop Terminal 4 from Serato (4 channel MIDI) and it easily incorporates his videos as well. May be another to at least look at. |
