Dance styles and MC's [video download]

In my opinion MC's have no business at trance parties. The music should speak for itself.
But how should they announce the next DJ/liveact? Well, why can't they just let the DJ's do it themselves? Or just use a big sign as they do at Mayday.
Hardcore parties are a different story: a MC can lift the crowd to a higher level. Especially when DJ's bring their own MC, who knows the tracks, feels what the crowd likes etc etc
A good example from the past: Tellurian and MC Hype. These two are an excellent team!

hehe just watched the vid.
I can see how the MC's can help with that type of music.
That party looks a bit wild, lots of skinheads there too :) |

Skinheads? Gabbers!
Gabbers (people who like hardcore) have nothing to do with skinheads or rascism!
The fact that some of them have no hair or wear bomber jacks doesn't mean they are skinheads. In fact, most real gabbers hate rascism. Gabber means 'Friend'. Funny enough, it's a jewish (jiddish) word.
The party looks wild, is wild, but never seen a big fight there. All friendly boys 'n girls.
Never judge a book by it's cover! :o :) |

somen with a shaven head = skinhead in my book

In our book skinheads are nazi's, not bold people :D
BTW 12th of October is Thunderdome, a decade. 10 years of hardcore in Holland.
I guess all the gabbers from back then all have grown their hair back nowadays :D
It's gonna be one big reunion :)
Ehm back on topic: This Mc Hype does time perfectly and won't be louder than the music that is playing. It's like a third record playing through Tellurian's set  |

yes i realize that now.
here if i went and got my head shaved right now, my mates would say I have a 'skinhead' nuffing at all to do with race or whatever.

| Yes they do work together, and well. But I could not survive in that arena, just a little too much energy for me. |

That energy is just so amazing! You have to experience it once :)
The bass goes through your body like a 8 hour adrenaline rush :D |

I think it's that new James Holden track that hasn't been released yet. |

Tellurian (Mokum Records) = Leviathan (Liveact + DJ + Producer) from Cenobite Records
Real name: Michiel Klaasen
Has nothing to do with Ferry Corsten
Remember than video where Pinnhead cuts off that leg? That was Tellurian too.
That sound is called 'the sound of the underground' (correct me if I'm wrong)
More info: search for 'Mokum (Records)' 'Tellurian' on Google.com |
