the improperly placed event threads are made by people whom dont bother checking the forum rules or dont bother paying attention to what they are doing. spam threads are made by bots and are not people.
we could treat the event thread members the same way we treat spam bots (immediate suspension) but i think that would be a little harsh, no?
or would you rather we give the spam bots a warning and pray they dont do it again?
the two things are quite different which is why they are dealt with in a different manner. |
