Absinthe Fountian

| Hey how I just got this and I dunno how to use it. Being an antique there are no instructions. Any one know how it was traditionally used in absinth rituals? Mine is made out of glass and metal and has six mini faucets on it. I purchased it for 175 dollars any one know wats its worth? I'm guessing at least that much since I couldn't find them on the net. |

| Alls I know is that I've heard Absinthe s you up really bad and is illegal in most countries. I know it was widely used back in the 1600s. Van Gogh the painter drank lots of Absinthe and eventually went crazy (he cut off his ear and sent it to someone at one point). |

You can buy Absinthe in liquor stores here.. :) of course not the old absinthe that made you crazy but still.. tastes like .. i can't describe it. bad anyway..

| umm im not 100% percent sure of details and whatnot, but.... im inagining it looks somewhat like a martini strainer over a glass bottle? i think something goes on the strainer, some sort of mineral, and then then liquid abisinthe reacts with it to make what you drink, and thus what s you up hardcore. dun know what that mineral is, but its there i think|:D |

| Absinthe has a beautiful green colour, it has 70 ° C of alcohol, and it's very strong! When I was in Prague, a friend of mine had lost his voice (he caught a cold), and one evening he drank in a bar a glass of absinthe, and suddenly his voice came back!!!! Vive l'absinthe!!! |

They used to use like a tiny strainer the size of a spoon and they would put sugar I think on the spoon and pour the absinthe through the sugar into the glass so it wouldn't taste so bad. The poison in absinthe that makes you crazy is either grain or wood alcohol, I forget. |

| its a liquor distlled from worm wood. something from the worm word makes it a psychedelic i believe. |
