I love trance music and artists, and this place seems like a great artist, bad venue type place..... I can't wait to go this Saturday and see Audien and Adrian Lux. How are they live? I'd love some feedback about the venue as I'm from Chicago and new to NYC venues.

Can't speak for how the artists are live bc it's not my cup of tea.. but Webster Hall will be crowded, gross and full of kids.

Really? By your description it sounds like Congress Theater in Chicago. Does Webster Hall have an age requirement of 16 or something?

And yes, Audien will be amazing. I'm just trying to get a gage on whether it's gonna be a tool place with tool people and a great artist and whether it's worth toughing out...

If it's all 'Kids", I'll probably pass.

Webster Hall is 19+ and a bit lax on IDs. It's not a very good venue - they really pack it out and the crowd is obnoxious.

I think the obnox. factor is worse for women than men.
It can get very packed indeed, but not sure if the line-up Will do it.

OTOH, this is a concept night, so that could be a big draw, regardless of the line-up (never been to a brite nite, but if this is like Electric Beach at SPH, its possible). The b-n posters scream neon alas.

would peg the typical crowd in that 20-22/23 range so kids isn't literally correct, but apt.

On balance, if you like the artists, I'd go, the venue is not that bad, have dealt with that situation a lot there, never a big problem or major buzz-kill.

Admittedly, minority opinion around here, but it's imho...

had actually considered myself, more for Audien, too bad thats the opener.
