Bar tending/cocktail serving was getting old.
Decides to pick up DJing thinking she could get gigs based on her looks and "underground" tracks she playing. |

We've had a few DJs like Francois K and Eric Kupper, etc who can DJ without headphones.
They mix thru the monitors ;) But then again, they've been all DJ-ing longer than House Music itself (circa 1984)... |

If you know your music, it's not that hard mixing though monitors. Specially with CDJ's because you have access to cue points, wave forms, BPM's and on the Nexus you also have a SYNC button!
Back in the 90's, we used to practice mixing vinyl without headphones. That was a bit harder but still doable. I didn't like it, but my friend was an expert at it. |
