Its been a whole two years since THE DEEP NORTH was officially founded in the dusty basement den right above Dufferin subway station which Dick Diamonds called his home. Seems like yesterday that Maxwell church was banging his head on all the low ceilings during the long nights spent designing the blog and planning the very first LATE & DEEP events... anyone remember those? the little loft with one bathroom and the 2 story concrete staircase down into the inescapable cavernous smoking alley... We still cant believe nobody managed to fall face first down those bad boys... especially since back then we had a $20 cover charge and an all you can drink all night self serve keg system (we have learned a lot since then). Thank god those days are behind us... Just kidding, they were some of the best. That being said we have come a long way since then and made many wonderful friends, we have all grown as people, musicians, djs, promotors, planners, designers, and god knows what else. We probably even made a few enemies along the way but we'd rather not dwell on that...
So lets get down to the nitty gritty details. We have 4 international headliners for this event each bringing their own LIVE PERFORMANCES to make your feet move in the well known LATE & DEEP atmosphere. as well as a couple toronto faves to keep some local action on the table.
