Spend the $25 (or whatever it is) for a month-long all-access membership and you'll have access to everything from complete newb training to some really advanced stuff.

Oh cool, one more thing, how do i open a Virus TI 8 channel Plug in. I only know how to open a single stereo channel plug in.

You can't get 8 audio channels out of the Virus TI via USB, just 3 stereo or 6 mono. But, here are the steps for inserting it:

- CTRL+SHIFT+N to open New Tracks dialog box
- change the first track to a stereo instrument track (unless you plan on using mono to get more outputs) - this will be your main MIDI track and your 1st audio return track
- click the little "+" button to add more track types
- on the second line, create 2 stereo or 4 mono Aux tracks - you will route audio outputs from the Virus into these tracks
- click the "+" sign again and create however many additional MIDI tracks you want (up to 15, remembering that the instrument track accounts for the first MIDI track)
- click "Create" and all of your tracks should be displayed
- on the first insert point of the main instrument track, insert Virus Control and wait for it to open; you should be able to play/hear the first part from your Virus
- on the Aux tracks, click on the grey box under "I/O" to change the input to Plugin > Virus > Out 3/4 (or just 3 for mono); repeat for the other Aux track(s), but select the other Virus outputs until the outputs are all used.
- Assign the remaining MIDI tracks to the desired Virus parts by selecting the second box under "I/O" and assigning the MIDI out to the individual Virus channels.
- last step is to assign each of the parts in Virus Control to whichever one of the 3 stereo or 6 mono outputs that you want. Open VC, click on the "Common" tab, and for each part (selected from the numbers on the far left-hand side), select which one of the USB outputs that you want under the "Main Out" dropdown box at the right-hand side of the Common page.

If it's done correctly, you should be able to select any one of the MIDI channels in PT and play the corresponding part in VC, and each part should be routed into one of the 3 stereo or 6 mono return tracks in PT. As you can see, it's sorta a PITA to set up each time, so you might want to start with a blank version, get the Virus setup the way you want it, and save it as a template.

Yup, one of tradeoffs of having all those options that PT gives you is that almost everything can take longer to do in PT compared to most other hosts. One of the best things you can do is get to know all the keyboard shortcuts for every task that you commonly use because it will drastically improve your workflow and efficiency. There's a dedicated gazillion-page keyboard references document that comes with PT - study it, make cheat sheets, or whatever.

And, like I said, templates are your friend. I have dozens of templates set up for new projects and several of them have the Virus already instantiated with all ins/outs pre-configured, others with drum plugins (e.g., BFD2, Superior Drummer, Stylus RMX) and other combinations of instruments. Actually, I set up similar new project templates for all of my DAWs so that I don't have to dick around with routing instruments for every new project. It makes life a lot easier and lets you get to work immediately when inspiration or a new idea hits you.

its the other way around. i use reason becuase it has awesome instruments which allows me to work effectivily instead of having problems with the kickdrum not following the bpm of the track. wasting time on stupid like that is whats separate those who gets things done and not.

How Is That Even Possible?

It's not. The OP was having trouble getting his kick samples to snap to quarter notes, not with them playing in time. They were in time, just not arranged on the grid properly. It was just a case of simple user error, not some problem with PT.
