Hi folks,
I just happened upon this forum today while I was looking for something else (I know, that's pretty much close to the 'It was on fire when I got here' excuse, but there it is).
Anyway, hi. I'm an expat Brit living in the bay area in California, designing electronics and writing software for a living (just like everyone around here) by day, and doing music the rest of the time. The music I write isn't exactly like anything else I know of so it's hard to say 'I do *this*' for any well-defined version of *this*, but it's fair to say that some of my stuff could be mistaken for Boards of Canada or The Orb, but some of my stuff is more in the experimental/jazz kind of direction. I have a bad habit of doing what I do in something of a vacuum, I'm not really involved in the local scene, or any scene, really, so I'm hoping to make up for a bit of that by being around here.
