I'm not the kind person to listen to everything from start to finish most of the time but when I but this on at 4am I'm pretty much garuanteed to head nod off for at least 30 minutes. The drums are obviously top notch but what really sets Source Direct apart is the misty early morning atmosphere. They came up with these absolutely killer mysterious and atmospheric pads and strings and they totally make their tracks. The jazzy bassline is absolutely spot on as well obviously. |

Max Graham did a good few in this style. this is a good example. warbled, twisted, aerated and spiritual.

this type of track happens to work best in progressive form, so i wont go out of my way to post some oddball 36min track to prove i'm at the cutting edge. |
