Also, what in' track was this? Sounds like it was a bastardization of a 'Sir Mix Alot - I like Big Butts' bassline?!

things started slow from my end.. waited long for people to get over to my house by the time we all finished drinking and eating it was late and got there for 2-3 gerber tracks (wanted to see gerber more than sasha) blehh. my friends went off to tintins journey ! was hoping he would have played that whole joel mull EP.
WOW what an improvement on the sound holy .
brought friends that don't like this style of music and theyre already down for the next island party ;o.
going to have to ask for adam beyer and his drumcode/truesoul friends for each one (i manage to miss him yearly) |

| I think we can archive this Canada Day party in the same category as Lawler summer 2005 at Skybar. (Personally i think this one was better.) |

Although I enjoyed Gerber's set more, Sasha played this at the beginning of his set and I was sold. This duo is hands down the best and most consistent producers I've ever heard. Their 1 hour set at Sasha's Never say Never party in Miami this year had all but one or two songs they didn't produce.

echoing a lot of what has been said... great sound, great vibes, i brought friends who don't normally go to these types of events and they loved it. really happy i didn't hit up any after parties on the weekend to make sure i got to this one
really awesome to see so many of the people i've met over the years in one place as well
i'm basically leaving the next holiday weekend open in hopes of digweed popping up. please book him and let him play all day, i would also pay top dollar |

Was dying to hear it live. Wanted to run back when I heard it while waiting in line for ferry. So tempting <3 |

He came. He saw. He conquered.
Thank you to all who put this fantastic party together for my 2013 Sasha fix. What a magical evening.
Not going to compare any sets at all because this one was special in its own way; and I enjoyed what I heard from beginning to end. What a treat to be on the island and to hear that signature Sasha sound - gorgeous melodies with a dose of some bad ass bass; all while dancing next to my brother in law who happened to be over visiting from Scotland and has been a fan of The Man Like since the 90s.
Gerber's set was a perfect beginning for the main event and got me right into the mood. The beautiful track he played right before Sasha came on was so suited for an outdoor setting and blended perfectly into what was coming next.
