This must be some sort of a fluke, we are having way too much fun lately with way too many good events/music *knocks on wood*.

Andrew took over and kept the energy going and flowing like a prog master that he is. That was tight man, he literally handed over a ready meal to Hernan.
Hernan is the guy I look up to in terms of how he builds his sets based on time that is given to him. He asked me numerous times what time is the club open till and will there still be people closer to 5 to plan out his set. At some points you couldn't even tell if the track changed as he was building the momentum slowly towards the end of the night, absolute genius..
Amazing night, hats of to OZ and FW for yet another incredible event this year. :D

This was my first time in Footwork in probably three years. Maybe even four? Anyway, it was good to bump into a few old faces and some of the newer ones I'v met in recent years.
His set was good. It was really cool hearing proper progressive house (not the Beatport kind) in a club in Toronto again. There was a good mix of people ranging from 20 to 60 (I seriously saw a grandma dancing up front). One thing that struck me is that as much as I love prog, I've really moved on from this sound. His set was solid at the point of me bailing at 2:40ish for my 1.5 hour long drive home. I didn't feel like falling asleep at the wheel after my plans to stay the night fell through.
Footwork still remains my favourite venue in Toronto, but the sound could use a bit of an upgrade. There's something about clubs in basements that I'm fond of.
Hernan's still one of the nicest guys in dance music too.
