| If you wanna interest the opposite sex in Trance, what track would be the first track to introduce to that person. Just curious how I can get my friends on the right track. Any suggestions?? |

| probably cheesier stuff to start with.. cant really think rite now but cheese tracks are better for getting people into trance, then introduce them to proper trance along the way. |

That might be true, but a lot of people are critical of their music...such as myself.
Back when, I think the first track was Chris Raven- I know you love me too, then from there it was binary finary1998, pvd-words, forbidden fruit, for an angel, Greece2000, cafe del mar, etc. These did the trick-you know- all your usual classic tunes. I think you should start off with some new ones from this year like:
Mach 747-Invading Privately
Adain-Summer Calling(Push Remix)
Epsilon 9-Lifeformation
Sasha-Bloodlock
Matt Darrey-Moody
Ocean Lab-Sky falls down(AvB remix)
4 Strings-Diving(H&H)

etc
etc...a little bit of everything. Test some waters. |

Yep..dealing with the same. Cause cheesy stuff, is just not trance. It's cheese. If you think about it, it's pretty hard to see another soul lost if we make a wrong 1st impression... |

..1st of all...please don't Darude here...
I like the suggestions. Still trying to figure out what keeps people away from Trance. Is it the bassline?? the Harmonic Melodies on a heavy deep bassline that non-Trance brains can't consume?? Or the buildups?? What is it??? I'm playing Extreme Trax - Final Fantasy (Original Mix) at this moment at 1:44 I'm bangin my head and at 2:00 I'm gone....and back at 7:00 with that extra wide flanger....
We Trancers do listen to it different and for me it's to long ago to remember how I got into Trance. Always been open to any kinda style of music...and still am.

Hell no. Most people think trance is just noises. Like Scooter, Darude, ATB etc. They don't know 'underground' like we do. Therefor they think it's all fast beats and such. |

i mean trance is very melodic....if u could say about a music "ahhh this is just noise" then it is propably techno (like chris liebing, or rush stuff) which i like very much!! |
