For the first installment of Format, we present to you the debut of the wizard behind the cutting edge, textured and raw techno sound of the UK, Shifted, at Toronto’s Moniker Gallery.

Shifted has been rising swiftly from the murky shadows of UK Techno. His first of two EPs on techno legend Luke Slater's esteemed Mote Evolver imprint instantly grabbed the attention of the entire techno community. He also released his debut LP on Mote Evolver titled "Crossed Paths" which made a large impact along with his steady releases on his own label Avian. Shifted's detailed, rhythmic compositions and texture capture the attention of the most discerning ears.
His growing remix demand has led to reworks of UK Techno legends The Black Dog as well as peers Sigha and Cio D'Or amongst others. We are proud to invite him to set the launch of Format.
