i know this is a late question, but what is this song a remake of? it reminds me big time of a song from the 80's, but can't remember the tune it copies...
i know someone has to have discussed this before, anyone know?

makes sense, considering the vinyl is titled:
JamX & DeLeon - Can U Dig It? (Self Sontrol)
then in the credits it says "contains samples from "Self Control" performed by "Laura Branigan"
