Any cheap live played accoustic drum loops you care to recommend?

As the title says - I need these to help me in my D&B productions - my own playing live on little Roland pads is no match for a real drummer.

Screw loops - get a drum instrument with real drum samples and MIDI grooves played by real drummers.
FXpansion BFD Eco (often on sale for $29)
ToonTrack EZDrummer
Steven Slate Drums EX
Eco and EZD are expandable, and all three have upgrade paths to their big brothers (i.e, BFD2, Superior Drummer, SSD4). |

Cheers Dave
I just went to do the FXPansion one but it's too much of a clusterfuk process as my studio machine is not online (I like it that way) and I cannot be arsed to hook it all up to the net.
I will now try the next on your list - if only these firms made things easier I'd buy so much more. |

BTW, if you didn't buy one already, check around before buying it direct. For example, Audiodeluxe has EZ Drummer for $55 USD (compared to $99 at Sweetwater, Guitar Center, etc.) and, yes, they're totally legit resellers. You just need to create an account before you can get the discount prices.
