Question regarding Marquee in Vegas: Max Graham and Myon & Shane54

I'm going to be in Vegas for business for a couple days and trying to decide if a trip to Marquee is worth it. If I decide to go I will be venturing in by myself. I can wear a nice button-up and all that jazz, but I would still hate to buy a $58 ticket just to get turned away.

Reading the reviews makes it sound like all the bouncers are pricks and are going to look for any reason to turn you away, even if you already purchased a ticket.

Any advice on the place?

Make sure to wear dress shoes too, they are tight with their dress code

I wouldn't worry too much about it. I don't always wear dress shoes - sometimes nice black sneakers. No problem. Just the basics - collared shirt, nice jeans/pants, and ur fine.

i've never had an issue with marquee bouncers. in fact they're extremely nice as bouncers go, for the most part. just be cool and they will be cool :)

yup.

i think the bad marquee rep is from the 1st and 2nd week it was open, even then i got in with nice high tops.

anytime dance floor is closed, i talk to the bouncer and they say come back in x minutes and i'll let you in without fail, or the one time i had lost my wallet and they quickly took care of it and took me to a room and had my wallet there waiting for me.

Glad to hear that others had easier experiences, gives me hope for next time to go in with Nikes. A month ago in late June, I went to see Markus and the staff told me it was a no go with Nikes. Thankfully I was staying at Cosmo so ran up to room and changed into dress shoes.

yeah don't risk it trying $100 white sneaks.

There is a box office on the first floor near the craps tables, you should go to the box office earlier in the day to pick up a hard ticket. They won't reject you once you have the hard ticket.
