Cool mix bro! Play it again!
I liked it! Nice mix of everything in there. Did not pay any attention to the mixing but nice flow through the mix.
Been cleaning the apartment with this mix in the backround. Defnetly a keeper! |

| Listened to the first half of this. It's really all over the place. Some parts are psychedelic and others are not in my opinion. Honestly though, man, I almost stopped the mix when the little girl was doing the raindrop poetry/rap type thing in the first part, I was cringing really hard on that track and I almost turned it off but I didn't. I'm glad I didn't turn it off because the music was interesting. I'll check out the second half when I get a chance. Thanks for this! |

Eclectic. I'm also not a fan of linear mixing, i think its incredibly boring for this style of music.
And that song you mention - it's by an-ten-nae, and he's really on top of his game right now. I saw him once this summer and will see him again in sept. obviously to each his own, but some music will grow on you and i think this is a fine example of that. it's a bit weird the first time you listen to it, i'll give you that, but that's part of the fun... just trying to say the guy is filled with talent :)

Personally, there's a fine line between eclectic and weird, and you were pushing that line a few times. To me, eclectic is more of a set like this:

And as far as that track is concerned, it's just not even remotely my thing. I'm not exactly a fan of this style but you seemed to pick a few decent tracks that I enjoyed. And honestly, I don't think the raindrops poem/rap thing by the little girl will grow on me, it's just too strange and cringeworthy for me. Good effort on trying to be different though. |
