this rmx is just too plain and simple for me...i mean the beat doesnt even match the Janeiro feelin...just kinda borin...
as for which i like...it has to be the James Holden Rmx...like i've always said...its just simply mind-blowin...of course the Pronti & Kalmani Vocal Mix is right behind...the Rui Da Silva Rmx & Subtech Rmx are next...i dont even count the AvB Rmx...i dont like it...its one of them...happy as hell for goin nowhere songs to me...sounded too much like his rmx of Rapture...sorry...but thas my opinion... |

sorry kids, the original is amazing, and most of the remixes are good, but AvB remix is the best. it's a pure summer song that can live throughout the year.
SOLID SESSIONS - JANEIRO (ARMIN VAN BUUREN REMIX)

| KIDS?ok armin circa 99 was great he played and produced tracks that were full of emotion that sent mad chills down my spine the armin of today has watered down the kinda tracks i feel in love with back in '99 and some of my fav tracks since...solid sessions "janeiro (original mix)" is a very powerful track...armin masacred this track...he turned one of the most chilling and emotional tracks into super-trance garbage...over the top and uber wack...and dont even get me started on the vocal he added to "seven cities" its the perfect case of bad vocals ruining good tracks now this isnt a avb bash reply per say but in this example "janeiro" the original OWNS ME, YOU, AND YOUR GRANDMA...peace da f out |

it's obvious i'm an armin fan, and some of what you said i agree with.
however, being 24 and that amazing of a producer / dj, he can do what he wants, because a s***load of people love him.
God Bless Music, and F da hippies. |
