It's unlikely but, if he decides to become a woman, it's a logical possibility. Does English law even have this covered? This is so remote a possibility I don't think anyone has considered this yet. |

The problem is that gender is not quantifiable. They are sick in our eyes because we decided to define something we don't understand. The need to be another gender is probably a mental struggle to align how you feel and the supposed gender options you have available.
Sex changes are in my opinion a band aid solution that doesn't really attack the cause to want or feel like having to be one or the other and until society can get past the dIchotomy which given that it is built into so many languages which kinda makes the change slow if ot impossible , the persecution or hate is placing blame on the symptom. It requires a certain degree of logic to realize this and I suppos It woukd be irrational to expect that standard of insiight on most people. basically, your hang ups are because your brain cant connect the dots.
If you consider this mental illness , then add the gay to the list. because there is no difference from a logical standpoint. And it is probably more accurate to say disorder. Disorders depend on your ability to act within the scope of normal .they can't really be observed which is why illness is usually used for things that have a clear medical cause. Like say your lack of frontal grey matter and then your resulting idiocy. illness woukd describe why , the disorder would be how that relates to what is normal. |
