anymore of this style?

heres a classic from 1993 i think, and the film kiss of death is awesome!! nic cage in fearsome form. heard it pumping when they were in the club, had to track it down! the soundtrack also has orbital and hardfloor :)

and a more recent example (1998) a little tune hailing from my home city :D it bagged a derick carter remix... and it is sublime!

nice, keep em coming.

another one that springs to mind is laurent garnier - man with the red face. very raw. love the clubby jan driver mix too.

EDIT: i'll just insert this bomb in here :eyespop: :eyespop: :eyespop: :eyespop: :eyespop: :eyespop:

Nice thread, that first tune marked the year I kind've got pulled into deep and progressive-styled house with bits of jazz and disco thrown in. :)

This one's a bit cheeky and maybe a bit obvious but fits in with the old skool vibes:

Do you mean stuff from like Jazz n Groove?

Or say something like Micky Moore - A Touch of Jazz (MM Piano Deluxe) ?
rubez
indeed! i prefer it darker, but all forms welcome.

check these two out... :eyes:

found them from a laurent garnier boiler room set: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=40NCDTpv_OI

aw man... i discovered that bill withers/henrik schwarz one just last night! what a tune, good catch!

was on a henrik schwarz binge after seeing his boiler room set on youtube - very talented guy. a lot of boiler room sets are mundane, but he rocked it and his producing skills are unreal.

he is influenced a lot by jazz too.
