Yeah the only reason I click on it was because of the title and almost seems strange that it's on an EP with three other average tracks you here turned out every week; was quite surprised by it.

I like that 06R remix of Phantom Highways, its electronic sunshine. Just one of the tracks I like for some reason.

Hey guys, was browsing around and saw this thread. I'm the artist who created Summer Rains. I also find it hard to find music like this these days. Much of my older prog stuff from about 10 years ago feels the like this, but it seems to have been overlooked in the last wave of same same tunes.

The tune actually came by the weather. It was bloody hot and pouring with rain, it stopped raining for a moment and the birds started singing. Divine inspiration.

Nice. Glad to see you found this thread, I was also the same youtuber that uploaded it and I see you found that as well.:)

This is a brilliant track, so mellow and enveloping. Is the ambiance taken from the storm and birds you described. Also is the only song you have out currently? I'm interested in hearing your stuff from 10 years ago.

Thanks again, great track.:toocool:

I've got a few bits released this year, but most of my back catalogue is only available through Amazon these days... How that works I don't know. None of it is the same genre as this track though. Most of it the same same house/tek you hear all the time.

I used a Zoom H4n to record the birds and thunder, with a C1000 mic. The trains are recorded in the subway station in Sydney, same setup.

I'll see if I can dig out some of those old tunes for you guys. Sadly I didn't have the same skill at sound engineering back then, so the clarity of the tunes aren't the same... But still nice to listen to.

Thanks a lot for the great feedback.

Was this just an experiment or do you plan on making more music like this?
