I heard they let JOOF play there but i can't find him in any of the videos.

JOOF has played there for the past few years now. Actually alot of great DJs play there but on smaller stages a good way's away from the main stage.
The Ovum Recordings stage last year was phenomenal. |

I just can't understand why this music is so successful, they have some catchy loops every now and than but the whole thing gives me a headache after 20 minutes.
And whats with the farts,unrelated use of presets,white noise at 100% and +10db gain mastering on every track?

because mastering takes a lot of knowledge and talent
everyone can master abletons tho
really all you have to do is just see if theres a god damn red line, it's a start.. |

No they actually do this on purpose.
The train of thought is this: all of our fans got ty soundsystems\headphones so lets jack up the gain by a 100% so it will sound loud enough on 9$ logitech speakers.
On a cheap system our favorite tracks from 2003 sounds dull. |
