Spacebuggy - Spacbuggy [1994 perfect classic trance]

Just came across this today. Ok, it's mostly stripped down acid techno for most of the track's duration but that breakdown has dangerous levels of PLUR. Holy god damn this track is good.

Nice, never caught that one in the younger years, and it certainly sounds ahead of its time.

I just have to contribute one from the same era (a little earlier perhaps) from the Soma stable (both acidic and melodic):

Woony
I like this one from Soma, although it came a little later (1996). Actually a lot of their stuff seems to have stood the test of time, I have heard both Dark Manoeuvres and Positive Education played out within the last two weekends.

vinnie97
Oh yea, can't forget the seminal Positive Education, one of my all-time faves. ;)

The other two are new to me, thanks.
Syntonic
Funny, I finally tracked a copy down earlier. This is one of my all time trancers, especially the second mix...powerful synths and a pulsating 303. Surprised people aren't posting more Chris Cowie and Tony Scott material, Cowie is so underrated in the scene in my opinion.

Here's that second mix.

You might also like this track by them as well,Version 2 is my favorite of the two. Beatport has them both.

Spacey Orange
first and second tracks are excellent. great work.

Cowie produced great tracks for sure.

Ralf Hildenbeutel produced various styles of EDM back in the day.

From 1994 under Earth Nation:

They also had great live performances.

Yeah, Chris Cowie is something of an unsung hero, responsible for some of the finest tech trance ever made and ran a brilliant label to boot. Would love to see him in a club, although I'm not sure he still plays out. Don't think the OP track is up there with his best work though.

Not sure what Ralf Hildenbeutel has to do with this thread, but since he's been mentioned, here's one of his less well-known collaborations with Sven Vath, and what I would dub "1994 perfect classic trance":

Syntonic
More Cowie/Scott

This was co-produced by Tony Scott(tracks is actually the Ambient Mix)

Woony
Oh damn I just realized that the Tony Scott involved here also is Percy X. He did some nice techno in the 90's. He's still active and has been doing stuff as Edit Select in the past few years. It's pretty solid techno but all very tool-ish.
