Djed at a boat party on the river here saturday and its now Sunday night/Monday morning and it still feels like my right ear is quieter than the left and there is a slight ringing, I always hear of doing permanent damage but it is better than last night after I got done and even better than this morning, has anyone experienced this and it went away after a couple days or should I go see a doctor?

yeah ive had this for aprox two-three days after love parade (four full days in a raw with insane volume). it went away after a while but i seriously doubt i hear as well now as before due to my clubbing. im just used to it now but i dont go to clubs anymore. im more afraid of my hearing than almost anything else.

Just wear ear protection from here on out, you learned your lesson. And also tinnitus is a chronic thing, it's normal to expect ringing in your ears for a few days after an event.

also, no point in going to a doctor. if its gone its gone, nothing to do about it.

you lost some of your hearing. And that ain't ever coming back. Wear earplugs, you won't be hearing anything above 8k in your 30s. Except for perhaps the ringing in your ear that doesn't actually exist.

O yea I know I gotta find somewhere around here to get the ones they cast for your ears

In the meantime just get ER-20's.

20 bucks and they will hold you off till you're able to purchase ones that are made specifically for your ear.
