Not really...only recently has bhangra been remixed just like every other music in the world....but yes, elements of Drum n Bass do exist...
PS> Trance and electronic music are played in virually every city in the world, as long as their are clubs, there will be electronica..a friend of mine went to a club in Bombay (I think called Fire) and he said they basically played the entire Out There and Back album throughout the course of the night.... |

Yeah it's pretty unique sound and sure it's got alot of electronic influences in there, but hey what kinda music isn't?? Maybe you think it sound like Drum and Bass but whatabout those urban reggae sounds from the early days??? A lot of Drum and Bass there if you know any DanceHall tracks...
Bhangra=Bhangra, let's keep it that way. And maybe the way they dance is not funny at all and it's just the way you gotta flow with it....still it makes me laugh...sorry about that.

Paul isnt confirmed yet for India. For those of you wondering about his Asian minitour check out the link I posted to his website. Check it periodically to see if the gigs are confirmed. He is gonna go to Manilla, Shanghai, Bejiing, Taipei, Singapore, Bangkok, Tokyo etc...

| Well Well Well.. PVD is gonna make it surely to India?bombay (thats where I live) I got in touch with a few of the Club DJs and they say thats its nearly confirmed that he is gonna make it to Mumbai ..the only issue they dont know where will he perform.. I could think of two clubs only.. either ATHENA or INSOMNIA.. unless they build a whole new place for him .. I cant wait to go for it.. wow.. its gonna be fun... |

| looks like there is a long debate over Bhangra.. well Bhangra is something different from Trance and Bass.. they dont use any electronic stuff.. get the basics right.. they use DHOLAKS.. these are played manually and are somewhat close to Bass but its different.. I wonder how someone could compare Trance with Bhangra..lol...:happy2: |
