my only hesitation is ...
majority of the kids that purchased these tix (hence the sat presale immediate sellout) are expecting to hear AB dj set. this will make for a really awkward time. |
Turned out everyone knew what they were getting into. Shocking, I know. |

| any reviews? Were A&B able to convert dance music to "real" music? |

| yep! great concert imo and a good crowd. only heard one 'where are all the lasers??' :) actually, my favorite part was when the singer they brought in to do the oceanlab songs (wasn't justine) forgot the words to satellite and the crowd helped her out, and gave her a standing ovation at the end of the song. very respectful and not at all the rude ptot crowd that everyone was afraid of. |

Can easily say this is one of the best performances I was at ever.
Very well planned out track selection and composition incorporating the instruments and vocalists.
Was a very respectful crowd. Mature, well dressed, and no candy garbage.
Singers were great, the musicians amazing, and the show an experience not to be missed. If only this were a tour. |

I'll be curious to listen to recordings of when Skrillex came out and played guitar with A&B tonight.

Their stuff is quite melodic so it translates very well. Nicely arranged. Great show. |

| not an A&B fan, but a fan of their acoustic music. thoroughly enjoyed their songs in a "real" music way. the crowd was well aware what they were in for although there were some people who screamed obnoxiously at times. I would see them again in this setting but you won't see me going nuts for their dj sets. |

Exactly. Not a fan of their dj sets recently.
Put me to sleep actually.
But the acoustic show with all the instruments and amazing vocals was amazing |

Yes, shocking.
I was wrong, thank god.
Many kids/folks were out front selling extra tickets for pennies on the dollar. I only saw one pair of furry leggings/boots. ;)
But seriously, one of the best shows I have seen in a long time. Hearing these songs with an orchestra was ...magical. I hope they take the show on the road, as I would actually go see this same exact show again. Very very well done. |
