He invariably gets the attention from myriad users anyway, so I contribute whenever I feel particularly irritated. If you scan back through the many Nou mega-debates, you'll find I'm a pretty low contributor to the bashing, and as I already made abundantly clear I've tried to ignore him (which is more than most can say) but it's an impossibility.
The real issue is: why do you keep trying to convince a whole group of people you don't really know to stop responding, instead of trying to convince your personal friend to stop being such a relentless wit? What do you actually think you're going to achieve? |

Because I know him better than you guys do. He's not that big of an in real life. He comes on here and gets into arguments, and once those arguments or discussions reach a certain point, he just goes into overdrive and argues for the sake of arguing or causes simply to cause . It's his modus operandi around here, and I've done what I can as a personal friend to get him to back off from doing a lot of that . Just like you with the ignore feature, however, I've given up because it's just ing pointless.
All I'm trying to do is let you guys know that, hey, maybe if you ignore him, he'll go away. Then again, maybe if he "gets the attention from myriad users anyway", not too many people seem to find him intolerable as you do. |

What? The attention is people endlessly bashing him and pointing out his flagrant idiocy and ignorance.
I don't care if he's "not that much of an ". I care that he's a pathetic deadbeat because that is the cause of his irritating behaviour and has a practical influence on my use of this forum. Is it really that hard to grasp? It's a self-sustaining loop. Furthermore, as I've already stated, the behaviour of shut-in man-children is nourished by the tolerance of people around them, so shrugging and just accepting his pathetic nature isn't going to catalyze a single step of change.

| I just find it pretty ing pathetic that you choose to invest so much time in "hammering home the utter wretchedness of his existence" when you seem to feel as though he's somebody that you wouldn't even give table scraps to if he were emaciated and moments away from dying of starvation. |

You don't, but I thought I read you say that you had Nou on ignore for some time (which, btw is lulz - because I'm pretty sure I recall you making fun of me for doing the same to russell saying how sad it is or some ), unless I misunderstood?
The difference between Nou and srussell is that Nou isn't a miserable butthurt little . He may be annoying at times and claim trolling or whatever...but his presence here isn't toxic the way srussell's is. |

They're both pretty ing intolerable. Although rusty gets a few good zingers in from time to time. Nou just depresses the out of me. He adds absolutely nothing, imho. The trivial he posts as if anyone cared just makes me sad for all the starving children. |
