Hi,
I think it's a decent track!
The synths are a little cheesy in my ears, I don't feel the melody either... I'm sorry
But I love that guitar, very chill for this song!
And you really have to work on your mixdown, imo it all sounds flat and it's a mess in frequencies.
The last thing I wanna say now: You have to work on the buildup too, I though it was a drop or something with that kick? Just use snares, a nice uplifter and ...
The main thing with buildups is that you need to cut off the low frequencies because the low must give the pumping feeling in the drop.
Keep practicing!

In the beginning around 1:00 the baseline doesn't follow the melody and chords.... I think that gives a bit of unease and makes the listener wonder what's happening and if it's right.... just my thought. I would suggest to try having the baseline move with the melody you have built up rather than stay static.
Long intro also for a 5 minute song.
But if this is your first trance track then it's pretty good for a first one.... Don't give up... keep making new stuff and learn new things and eventually you'll get there. :toocool: |
