honestly musically there was everything. i agree the majority of at the mainstage is lame but holy in wow ive never seen anything like that before. it makes you take a step back. and the vibe? most magical ever.
totally worth all costs and then some.
its just, they dont make festivals like that in the states kids. |

Tried to get a ticket last saturday, just impossible, even for the Belgian sale :(
You can try to get one this saturday but don't count on it. |

The only way to guarantee a ticket is to buy a travel package. For instance, last year I bought the travel train package from London, which was the cheapest option, and didn't even use the train. It was a bit more expensive, but I was dead set on going so it was worth it at the time.
However, after attending Tomorrowland, I can say it wasn't worth going to that extent to buy a ticket. The festival was fun and there was a lot of good stages outside of the brofest, but it is definitely overrated. It's kind of like the Ultra(USA) of Europe, everyone(mostly bros and noobs) jerks off over it, when in reality there are much much better festivals.
Another bit of advice, don't buy from any third party vendor websites, and especially don't wire money through Western Union for some random guy on Facebook selling them for face value. I can't believe idiots actually do that, but you'll see hundreds of them complaining on Facebook about how they got ripped off. I also seen about 20 different groups of people that bought tickets from places like eBay etc, all ed with fake tickets, and these people are spending up to $1000+ each for camping + 3 day ticket. |

Im thinking it might be worth staying state-side and save a bit of money and go to tomorrowworld http://wikifestivals.com/wiki/tomorrowworld
the line-up isn't tomorrowland's calibre but it's still pretty damn good, and it's way less of a hassle and $ to get a ticket. Dunno we'll see. What are some other good EDM fests iLLiE586> |
