Love Patterson's new style! Glad he went away from that vocal melodic stuff and ventured into Psy/Tech Trance stuff. His recent mixes are fantastic.

Super special event for me. I have not had the chance to play the mainroom at Ruby yet, and this marks my first ever Spundae Event.

| I also like his new psy style. I probably won't make it to Ruby Skye on Friday but will be there when he plays in Sacramento the night before. I thought his set at Nature One a couple of days ago was awesome, didn't really like his set at Global Gathering from last week. You can watch both sets at be-at.tv. HOpefully he plays like he did at Nature One but I guess it all depends on the crowd. |

I for one am glad Simon switched up his style. I saw him two years ago and his set was INCREDIBLY boring. It sounded like the same song being played for an hour - no variation, just the same old uplifting sound throughout with plain pluck melodies that fly over you head and are forgotten.
Seems like every other 140 name is throwing in more psytrance lately too - Bryan Kearney & Indecent Noise have as well. Once everyone does it, it really isnt that unique anymore. |
