clawing back credibility. bit by bit, undeterred by haters.
don't care what anyone else says, and like i said, bashing tiesto is like taking candy from a kid... but this is 1000x better than his direction of late.
whatever his reasons behind this, publicity stunt, or a step in the right direction - in the end, there is only music. good or bad.
and this is... good!

He starts spinning Deep House and... well, I'll be extremely pleased and may start paying attention to him again.
It's where my tastes have ventured recently. I highly doubt he'll stick with it, though.
I wouldn't be surprised if Deep House becomes the new trend in the U.S. It seem to be slowly growing in popularity in the mainstream around these parts. Who knows. |

Yea, not deep house and not trance, but a hell of a lot better than that other stuff he plays.
I thought the mix was cool. |

| Maybe he's trying to go for that ISOS sound. |

i think we've all been waiting for this to happen since deep house became the new buzz word 3 or 4 years ago. people were saying then it would be the next big genre to garner attention. as usual the mainstream is just fashionably late.
and yes of course this isn't really deep house, but just like with other bastardizations of electronic music this will become deep house by popular support.
even though it may be better than what he's been playing prepare yourselves for a lot of people trying to get into that "deeper" sound and basically screw it all up. |

| "His idea" of Deep House. Just like how Armin's idea of taking ASOT into musically diverse minimal territory was to play Oxia- Domino. |

| AnjunaDeep05 (which many here just ignored, sigh) topped Tiesto's latest in the iTunes dance chart, so I find it difficult to believe this is a mere coincidence. |

It's no coincidence. Both are jumping aboard a trendy sound years after it was actually fresh to do so. |
