I know this isn't trance related, but could be cool for some fusion / cross genera stuff as well as polyrhythm.

I made a massive library of MIDI Rhythms as well as a one shot sample library. I put the MIDI Library and some of the samples up for free on my site.

Here is the link: http://www.subaqueousmusic.com/prod...ep-midi-library

Check out the library. And if you make something from it hit me up.Love to hear how these MIDI patterns can be used.

isn't working for me, the download link doesn't appear to be a zip file

an audio sample might help, i want to hear these polyrhythms

If you are using a mac try renaming it to a .zip file. For some reason mac does not play nice with zip files. Drives me crazy.
cotec
It is a ZIP file but for some reason, some macs change it over to a cpgz. Here is an article on it:

If it's not that, then I wonder what is happening. Worked for me and many other people.

I've never encountered that problem, and it doesn't show up as a cpgz it downloads with no file extension at all

EDIT: little update, seems to work fine in Chrome and Safari, but this is what it does in Firefox.. just letting you know

meriter
which one of these folders has the polyrhythms, or are they not in the demo..

Well you could use the 2step MIDI to do polyrythmic drums and effects. What I mean by that is you could have a 4/4 beat but use swing beat / broken beat to add a polyrythmic edge to it.

So 4/4 trance beat with maybe some 2step based high hats to add a more dynamic pattern.

Make sense?

Thanks for sharing about that Firefox bug. That is a really strange thing. Hum... have to figure that out.
