I mean you're on a ing trance site, taking the piss out of trance, but actually too buttshy to admit you want some fluffy rolling schranz.
I don't even like most trance these days but at least take the out your own mouth before protesting you're not gay.
It amazes me that you think this site serves another purpose and have to dress up threads like this to avoid some kind of embarrassment; the embarrassment is that you spend every waking minute on a site that is actually purely for something you're embarrassed about.
It's like calling someone gay and they turn around and say "yes, and proud". Suddenly, they're not the one everyone is laughing at. |

But, its an EDM forum and some of us are gay, it sort of historically related with a lot of the music's origins... :rolleyes:
In saying that, 99% of modern trance is frightfully terrible and PKC's particular thing is nasty cheese trance, which we will rip upon him forever, like that time he had it off with a dirty fat chick for a bet at a party or the fact he lives somewhere its common to marry cousins and produce buck toothed, mutant children with double digit IQ's.

It's pretty sad that love is constantly getting trumped over by shame. Yes, trancecrackers have very narrow frames of references, but that is the only problem. Don't estimate that they're also gay and dumb and deserve to be ridiculed because of that.
I agree with those saying they don't get why modern trance music is supposedly "gay".
In fact, I'll say it's the straightest, whitest, most testosterone-stinking genre out there, second only to christian rock. |

Wow, totally missed the point, especially what I was getting at in the last sentence of my post; The person with the problem is the one that discriminates.
House was in it's essence pioneered by the gay community. In fact more so than just about any other music, you can say it's gay music, and trance is nothing more than a less fabulous evolution of it.
As for this site, you might think it's an EDM one but it's called Tranceaddict for a reason. It's not called EDMaddict is it?

And my problem is not with how terrible 99% of all trance is; it's the fact certain people feel lame saying it out loud like it's some kind of dirty word. A lot of it is , but A) we're on a trance site so coating it is kinda dumb given the environment and B) if you like it admit and be happy with it. The more you hide that you like it but still want it makes you look even more stupid.
Modern trance is not gay, I agree it's music for honkies that are whiter than rice (myself included).
Even calling it Unicorn is derogatory and something to hide behind. You like fluffy trance? great, get yer glowsticks out. |

lol off. nobody here is happier to admit their love for melodic trance than me. unicorn is just a great, funny term, that just happens to encapsulate all the forms of fluffy trances without having to specify. and my sig just happens to be an hilarious quote from system-j when talking about my music tastes. |
