Sutphin Blvd, Jamaica, Hollis, Ozone Park, ELMJACK

In Queens, beads and colors had gang affiliations but not what you read out of LA. It was a pride thing, it was a belonging to - my clique - type of representation. Beef was on a personal level, crews clashed but crew members also had allegiances with one another.

In the 90s, LB Fam and Zulu Nation took a lot of the south side of Queens with some strong representation in Brooklyn. I'd say from Ozone Park to Howard Beach stretching into the Rockaways and down by Bedstuy. Queens got the mainline 90s from NAS, but the small pockets in every area really was what Queens is about. LB Fam had a huge following in the Hatian community.
