Join us every Wednesday as we fuse the sounds of Dubstep, Drum and Bass, Trap, Moombahton, Glitch Hop, Drumstep, and everything in between to write the next chapter in this region’s bass music saga. No frills, no fluff, just industry champions and dedicated locals pushing our sound system to its limits every week. This is SUBstance.
About OPIUO:
A Kiwi who now calls Australia home, Opiuo is a chief sufferer of intense musical addiction, spending every spare second creating audible treats and selling out venues throughout the entire world. He’s performed alongside the likes of MC Hammer and Bassnectar, and has also reached #1 chart positions on Beatport, Addictech, and iTunes. In turn, he has inspired and captivated people all over with his highly original and uncontrollably addictive take on fun fuelled electronic music. His remix credits span world-renowned icons like Infected Mushroom, KOAN Sound and Warner Brother’s artist, Kimbra. Music from the Opiuo Lab can also be found on television, in documentaries, on radio (BBC Radio One + JJJ) and specifically selected for compilations by artists such as legendary master producer BT.
