Hey ive been using reason on and off for 10 years, other programs too. im all into the thor. i like the layout. Who wants to share tips/tricks reason add me up on facebook [email protected] or here.

I know its a dumb question, but gotta start somewhere... I get a pretty decent sound by mixing synths in the combinator, even though it always sounds like reason. My fav's are the ms feed and compact bass... Im willing to give away everything ive learned in trade for ideas others or someone else has learned. Thanks.

Free tips to anyone who cares: La2a plugin of your choice on every track, about 3 db reduction, then the same on every bus track, the same on master. Kramer tape on a send, also on after reverb send, also as an insert as many instances as your CPU can handle. So pr0.
Edit: the mostest pr0 tip evah for a Reason user: ing rewire it and mix with quality VST plugins.

some of the problem with reason is its mixer(s), its eqs and its compressors. they dont really sound good. the instruments does though so what you can do is connecting the instruments into separate rewire outputs and do the mixing in a separate daw, like reaper. i dont bother myself but it could possible help using other eqs and compressors in a different daw, or maybe a hardware mixer.
