Am I a wimp? What should I do?

It's a weird story: Last year, when going to school, this cute foreign tourist asked me for directions and, since we had to take the same bus, we kept talking while we were waiting for it. Our chat was really cool, and, even though I had never seen her before, I invited her for lunch in a shopping mall beside the school - and she accepted. Well, the fact is that I spent the whole day showing her the city (except for my 2-hour class that she didn't let me skip: I tried to get her into school, but some guard didn't let her in, then she waited for me outside - for 2 hours!!!).
As we were talking, she was often thanking me for being with her, because she was a bit affraid of being alone, though she really wanted to know the city. She studies Brazilian culture in her country. Also, all her luggage was with her friends, who didn't want to visit my city and had gone to Belo Horizonte (another Brazilian city), which was her next destination.
Why am I telling this?
Last week, I was organising my stuff and I found her adress (she asked me to exchange addresses in order to keep touch, though she promised to write and never did). I felt like writing to her, but...
1) After one year, if I suddenly write to her, doesn't it seem that I'm some tourist-psycho-pursuer? :nervous: :D
2) I know I've already given her my address once, but isn't it too dangerous to be giving your address to people? I mean, everyone who listens to this story tells me I'm crazy and I should be more careful (my parents almost killed me)... I'm affraid to write to her now
So, what to do? :conf: Should I write anyway or I'd better not take the risk? |

| I do this all the time. I find the number of someone I forgot about and phone them up. Everyone is always happy you called, or wrote whatever. |

| I'd write... Nothing exotic though, just something along the lines "Hey, just wanted to say you hi"... In any case, don't expect anything out of it: it's just a polite sign of attention, that may make her smile for a minute... nothing more, nothing less.. :( |

You are insane. But that's ok, coz most of us are here.
Just write to her. The worst that could happen is you don't get a response, and what is that? Nothing. Not too bad. |

Japanese chicks are MINT!! Definitely write to her. Sounds like if you had a place of your own when you met her, you might have had a good chance of getting some. |

I'll write something simple like "Hey, how are you? I found your address when organising my stuff (an explanation would be good, wouldn't it?) and just wanted to say "hi". How was you trip?"...

Actually I was just thinking about hanging out with her a bit more (if she ever comes back), I had not thought about getting some yet :p Well, just in case...
*Maaz gets a newspaper and looks for a place of his own - then he'll be prepared if it ever happens again* :D
Hehe, as we say here in my country, astroboy, "When I bring some flour you already have the cake" (You're always prepared being one step ahead) :) |
