What do you think of this track so far

Well, I'm gonna tell you some things that you probably already know. Even though this track isn't my typical style of trance (too hard for me), I was impressed with the overall quality of it. First of all, you need to work on the intro; the buildup comes too soon (which you probably already know, like I said). Second, you need to quiet down some of the high percusion in the beginning. Also (again, I realize that the track isn't finished), you need to throw in a different melody either before or after what you already have. That's my two cents, hope it helped. I'd like to hear the finished product.

Thanks KristineClub,
Only took me about 2 hrs to come up with this, hehe thats why its starts fast, my best stuff so far.
The whole track will probally sound alot different when its finished. Logics recording and stereo spreader is where the quality comes in, no other seqeuncer can beat it.
As to the intro, being a dj for 8 years. I really hate intros, no fun to mix a intro, if you look at the big Hard Trance tracks they start with just a kick , maybe some hi hats. Or they will put 2 mixes on the vinyl 1 with a intro, the other no intro. |

What you are spinning ARE club mixes even though the title doesn't say so.
They're designed to be played in a club, hence the intros/outros.
My point is that the beginning and end of a tune ARE called an intro/outro even though they are not intros/outros in "traditional" sense. |

| Do you know how to insert instruments in logic? Im asuming you don't since the ES2 came with 5.0. Push 8 on the keypad. That will take you to the main mixer. Select audioinst 1 in the mixer, hold the mouse on the light shaded grey box in the channel. Then it will give you a list of logics synths and choose the ES2. If you still can't figure it out. I will post a Screenshot on how to do it. |
