Does anyone know what this venue is like? It looks pretty ghetto from Google street view but maybe the interior is nice.
Any news on lineups? |

probably the nicest place you can ever do an event in.
it's usually an art gallery.
they'll be 2 rooms.

Of course, the BBCM continues to do its best at killing what was once a great event. We're talking 18,000 people in a single room at its peak.
Let's be honest, the current formula is not working and the attendance numbers have been plummeting from year to year. So the solution according to a press release in the spring was for the Black&Blue to go back to its roots. For the young ones, that meant partnering with NYC's Saint at Large and having a single house room.
Now, months later, they decide "to beat a dead horse" and they will have again 2 rooms: house and trance. Considering the capacity of the Arsenal is at most 4,000 people, that will mean 2,000 people per room. For such a "small" party, i might as well go to Circus or Stereo ;)
Then with Markus Schulz at Stereo and Armin Van Buuren at New City Gas on the same night, why would anyone that likes trance bother with the B&B ? |

stereo is small, already sold out, no impact really. not different from other years.
every house fan will want to be at black & blue this year. i'm not worried.
we can hold up to 6000 people with the configuration we use but we are expecting minimum of 4000 peeps.
going back to its roots is more being less commercial. that was a fail.
and yeah some people might even sell their markus tickets the way the line up is shaping up in the trance room...
but hey same story every year, just copy paste your posts from last years... |

No effense Frank ... but you did say the same thing last year about the line-up ... and it was close to a flop as far as the house room goes ! |

don't expect carl cox sven vath and all though ... won't happen.
i was actually surprised of a few names on there, one in particular that you'd book only for quality music not to draw a huge crowd. So i think they heard you guys ;) |
