I'm skeptical of new venues. Want to avoid overcrowding, lack of air conditioning, bad sound system etc...
I'm sure I will enjoy Sasha's set and I know when he came to Philly he insisted on renting a sound system of professional calibre. I know Sasha usually draws a mature audience, but the event is labeled underground, which in Philly usually means a warehouse party with no alcohol.
Just looking for clarification. |

Haha, Story is the farthest thing from a warehouse party with no alcohol. This is one of the premier clubs in the United States...and yes, during other nights of the week, they put on "EDM" shows, but the Saturday party is their underground party. They actually sell tickets on Resident Advisor for a lesser price than what you pay normally -- this means that there will be a lot of "heads" there. Go to this, it's gonna blow Markus at Mansion away. |

the biggest difference is at story you actually have a dance floor. at mansion 80% of the dance floor is vip. |

Markus is badass. Saw him at Space during WMC for an 11 hour set. Best trance show I've seen, ever. I've also seen him at festivals and other (tier) clubs where he's ranged from decent to terrible. Mostly mediocre. And yeah, Mansion is totally bottles and models, I guarantee he plays relatively ty there. Sasha at Story is the better party. |

I haven't been to Miami since 2008. I have been to Mansion, which used to be Level. The fact that it hasn't change names in 5+ years is pretty impressive.
How many hours is Sasha expected to play? 2am - 6am? I can't remember if Miami is different from NY. |

| Last time he played Story wasn't too bad. Enjoy the dance floor though; I was stuck upstairs, which I did not enjoy as much. He played for about 2.5 hours... |
