Tim Robert- - Tim Robert is a New York City-based musician whose great love of music has led him from rock songwriting & performance to EDM production and DJing. After touring and recording with rock bands and writing music for theater and film, Tim discovered dance music through NYC clubbing, finding great inspiration in the live sets of outstanding DJs such as Sasha and Digweed, Paul Van Dyk and Infected Mushroom, and live acts such as Underworld and The Chemical Brothers.

Thrilled by the power, energy and musical adventurousness of progressive house and trance, Tim began studying EDM production and started DJing live. In late 2010, Mistiquemusic released Tim's debut original track "Panodrama". In 2012, LuPS Records released Tim's original track "Launch Angle" and two remixes by Tim: Satiny - Lost Day (Tim Robert Remix) and DJ Borra - Mystical or Magical (Tim Robert Remix). Coming soon from Tim will be another original track on LuPS and a remix for Jetlag Digital.

In addition to producing and live DJing, Tim hosts the monthly radio show/podcast "Headlands", which airs on Pure.FM Progressive Channel and is available on iTunes. "Headlands" puts a spotlight on dynamic and edgy progressive house, and features a guest mix each month by both established and up-and-coming DJ/Producers.

Hugh Sharpe:

Behind the decks since 1995, Hugh Sharpe cut his teeth in the psychedelic trance scene helping to shape and promote its development around the United States and Canada during its nascent years. Document archives detail sightings of Sharpe at venues large and small across North America wherein he performed alongside most of the top names in that genre throughout the first decade of his career. From massive events like Return To The Source and WEMF and legendary nightclubs like Vinyl and Tunnel down to the smallest weeklies and one-offs, Mr. Sharpe has braved virtually every hazard and environment to deliver his carefully crafted and smoothly-sequenced soundscapes to dance floors for nearly two decades. With an expanded sonic palette at his disposal, years of mixing experience behind him, and now a role in the production arena, Sharpe poses even more of a threat to the dance music status quo today than ever before.

Recently identified as a principal operative in the enigmatic organization known as Silicon Syndicate, Mr. Sharpe has stronger ties in the worldwide progressive techno music community than authorities had previously estimated. With his long-time cohort Kent Friedman [aka: Mind Warped] confirmed as another principal member, Syndicate influence is confirmed to be on the rise and growing at an exponential rate. Sharpe and Friedman are actively recruiting a dedicated legion of collaborators and acolytes from virtually every continent to achieve the primary goal set forth in their Syndicate's manifesto-- the complete control of dance floors worldwide. At its current and projected rate of grown, experts predict to find them working relentlessly and with increased frequency both behind the scenes as well as on the front lines in the creation and delivery of highest quality non-lethal doses of mind-altering progressive techno to discerning addicts around the globe over the next few months as their legion of minions grows. This event is evidence to prove those predictions accurate.

Mind Warped:
Mind Warped is the solo project and DJ persona of Kent Friedman. A long-time producer and dance music aficionado, Kent dropped his guitar in 1994 and began producing various forms of trance music following inspiration from the early days of techno as the scene swept through nightclubs and abandoned warehouses between Boston and New York City. Originally working as a producer, Kent was the first U.S. artist to release a psychedelic trance album on a European Record label, Holland's Boom Records. Mind Warped went on to collaborate with NYC DJ Hugh Sharpe as Shape Shifters (not the U.K. group who tragically stole the name and will never be forgiven), touring North America as a production duo in the late 90s, rocking dance floors and making many friends along the way including one of tonight's co-conspirators, Alienswede.

Over the years Kent collaborated with various producers including California's Deeper In Zen while developing his DJ skills and honing his production abilities. More recently he reunited with Hugh Sharpe as Silicon Syndicate and the two-man team is taking on the world again with an aggressive original track and remix release schedule; presenting their music on top progressive house and trance imprints including LuPS Records, Mistique Music, Midijum, Icarus Creations, Elliptical Sun and more.

Mind Warped's DJ sets are characterized by hypnotic driving grooves, a strong rhythmic foundation and a healthy dose of lush, melodic atmospheres that will keep both your body bouncing and your brain swirling. Kent's style takes influences from techno, trance and underground house with a splash of psychedelia to create a rich tapestry of progressive sound that is sure to deliver the goods for any fan of quality dance music.
