I just posted about this in the Music Discussion forum 'cause I'm looking for more tracks that are like it, and thought I'd share it here just 'cause I freaking love it! It's from Stereo Lif, who I had never heard of until yesterday. His SoundCloud page describes the track as "Daft Punk on Steroids", and I'd have to agree with that statement!

I'm a Daft Punk fan, admittedly, but I think this track is sick on it's own and has a lot more balls than the new DP stuff. :gsmile: I already added it to my set for a big party in downtown L.A. this weekend.
Let me know if you agree about the baddass-ishness of this track! It sounds gigantic and kinda melds some interesting organic sounds with a huge modern thing. I like that it doesn't sound like all the same synth and drum sounds you hear these days, but instead has its own flavor. Anyway, I love it -- hope some of you do, too, and can also help point me in the direction of more stuff with this "Daft Punk on steroids" vibe. :) |
