Looks pretty mainstream so I'm sure they'll still make a profit and sell a ton of tickets.

For people who care though, yeah. yuck

(not that i'm saying there arent some good names on the lineup)

We ended up going to this at the last second. I have to say the venue is great for festivals like this. I absolutley love it. IMO way better than NOS, Coliseum/Sports arena, Vegas Speedway etc. Rolling grass hills, trees, awesome. Insomniac did an amazing job with the setup. Stages were incredible. Looks like they are taking some hints from the EU festivals.

Lee Burridge and Markus Schulz both made the night. The rest of the music was just aweful. Heard "Eat , Sleep , Rave, Repeat" twice (2 times too many). Can't tell you how many people were wearing shirts with that on them. Sander van Doorn, terrible. Thomas Gold, terrible. Fatboy Silm, terrible. Whoever was on before Burridge, kill me. And the worst set of the year if not the decade, Martin Solveign. Painful. This, of course is all my opinoin and the crowd was enjoying it (wtf). Again, thank god for Lee and Markus.

More bitching. A corn dog, which I took 3 bites of and threw away, and a coke cost $15. Two tiny Finlandia vodka/sprites, $34. Didn't taste or feel a drop of alcohol. Live Nation was handling the concessions so I think this is the future. They really must just want people to do drugs.

Enough bitching. We had no issues getting in or out but we got there late and left at 1am. I did have a good time and will be back if they book anyone worth seeing. Just going to eat before hand and car bar it.

Damn on the food/drink prices. I feel your pain.

A beer..A BEER...$13 at Sensation over in Oakland last weekend. I think Bud LIght might've been a dollar cheaper, but everything else was $13. They had Shock Top at least. And it might've been a 20oz beer. But still, $13!!!!
