Colorado has to be superrrr careful with this. We're surrounded by exceptionally pussy midwestern states, so when they start seeing a big influx of pot, they're going to point to us and go cry to the DOJ, even though every other day of the year they're all 'keep outta our business govvament!'. :/

Are you surrounded by "conservatives", hal?

Yes.

And as per the DOJ memo, so long as enforcement on trafficking to nearby states is prevented, they will not go back on their word. Compared to Washington, however, Colorado is surrounded by states with dearly conservative leaderships that would love nothing more than to nail our move to legalize because it is literally manufacturing criminality in their jurisdictions.

Exactly how is it manufacturing criminality in other states?

Because people in their states are importing legally grown weed from Colorado. Was that so hard to understand?

Because it is still a crime to possess marijuana in those states. :p

On a serious note, I don't think the war on drugs is a purely republican stance. I feel like their constituency is a lot less stubborn on this matter today, especially after the elections. I think it's more of a demographic issue.
