BTW, I'm no one to say not to do drugs, but, seriously think twice about what you're putting into your system.

I know I'm about to open a can of worms here, but IMO, the same thing that happened in the 90's with rap music is happening again with pop music or "EDM." Back then, rap music glorified thugness and it's lifestyle. Today, "EDM" glorifies "molly" to the extreme; making it the "cool" drug to do. It's unbelievable how much influence music and artists have over their fans.

Whatever happened to Dancesafe? Are they still around? This is perfect timing for them to start educating the new generation. But I seriously doubt the current promoters would allow a Dancesafe booth at their events.

Both have great information and needs to be used by all the new people in the scene.

On a side note: I may be a little more excited than I should be but I am excited that maybe this will kill the massives and put the music back where it should be.

So much for doing drugs "responsibly." I hate to say it, but many of today's kids have this YOLO mentality and go all out when doing drugs. The result, well, we all know. You only live once right?

:(

oh come now, kids arent any different than they've ever been.

You're getting old, woody :p

I was in NY and was supposed to go on Sunday. Was pretty bummed. I wonder if they are giving refunds for Sunday tickets. I would think they would have to. (I did not purchase just wondering).

These missives are getting out of hand. They should really make them all 21+.

Do you think that would help? Both of the casualties were adults.

I do think it would help. The one girl was under 21. I think it would draw an older slightly more mature crowd who hopefully is a little more careful.

Maybe if they can have a couple drinks they won't be dropping 6 mollies.

Also at festivals like these drink prices are crazy so a lot of people decide it is cheaper to do drugs then to get drunk. You were not even allowed to by booze unless you were in VIP section. You could only get beer and wine. Most of the time it is such a pain in the ass it is not worth the time trying to get a drink.

Also there is this alleged sexual assault. I assumed it was 18+. Was this 16 year old girl able to attend? There are so many douche bags at these massives it wouldn't surprise me, but the story sounds unclear.
