Absorb offers a space where fans of electronic music can go to sit down and chill out, hear interesting music at a clear volume and still hold a conversation without shouting. Our remit is extended and eclectic DJ sets, innovative live acts and a relaxed Sunday afternoon vibe.
For our first event, in-house electro bleep architect Oxynucid will be performing a special live PA, blending improvised ambience and sampling with sequencing and keyboards, while resident DJ Jack Moss will unfold an extended mix joining the dots between ambient, dub, glitch, techno, drum 'n bass and beyond.
Wharf Chambers Co-operative Club is a members’ club, and you need to be a member, or a guest of a member, in order to attend. To join, please visit wharfchambers.org. Membership costs £1 and requires a minimum of 48 hours to take effect.
